bye bye summer

Ok it's been awhile, summer is officially over, and the cats are doning there winter coats. today i got to see one of the new street kittens. there are 2 a black and a tux. i really have to start trapping again before it is to late. the babies look to be about 5 months old the tux looks like Figaro a cat i had tried to trap for 5 years till he got sick and vanished the only differences are the kitten seems to be short haired and has a tail.
my knitting is being slow at best, to many distractions and stress from work, which lead to health issues called ulcers.
to distract myself from pain i am indulging in wraps from simplybeautiful and ordering more bras from Bravissimo.com-i totally love the pippa by freya and it is in my size 34HH on the uk sizing. the best thing about the wraps is that i have not had a major migraine since i started the regime which to me makes them entirerly worth the $$$$. and the bras -now that i have the right size on- have helped lessen the back pain. i just need to get some pretty clothes to fit me and my bust as i get myself back in shape, funny how uplifting a proper bra can be.
so even if i have not been on a date in forever i feel real good about myself.

dear diary

its been a while since i last post.
Late in May my Patrick was stolen and i have been very depressed.
i hope that whoever has taken my boy is loving him.
i am just now starting to knit again and i finally found the rose for Octavia.
all in all it has not been a fun year.

camera phone

I have to say that I am totally impressed by the camera on my phone. the clarity of the pictures is wonderful. the best thing is that I can sneak in for a better angle than I ever could with my minolta or yoshika slr. I will never give them up but I must say that I am willing to branch into the field of digital
Robbie is such a handsome little cat.

updates

I now have my car. YEAH!!!

a glacier blue CR-V '08 now the fun part getting it paid off. as well as other bills.

my Isolde still has not had her dental appointment but she is doing better under the antibiotics and i had not realised just how little she had been eating. so now she is eating and pooping like a younger cat. yes this makes me happy. other cats in the colony have had eye issues lately- i think it is allergy as they lay out in the wind with the pollen balls flying around. if i catch them i rinse their eyes they do not seem sick in any other way.

about me i need to take better care of myself beyond starting to get manicures - the migraines seem to be under control. and the rite size bra is helping my self esteem. but the back aches are still there and pain has been going down my left leg.. so i need to get serious about finding a health regime and follow it.

now to the important things YARN. I got my order from Virtual Yarns the colour is SO gorgeous
i keep petting it. I am working on my swatch now to check the gauge. I know Starmore patterns are on a tight gauge and i tend to knit loose so this will be a challenge my hand hurt thinking about it. and to help keep my hands relaxed i am going to switch out between projects of different size needles and of course frequent kitty petting and grooming

and the car is....

i so thought i was going to get the HONDA FIT, it was just so fun looking. then i really saw it nice shape kewl color, all the bells and whistles, and just how low slung it was. there was no way it would get into my parking spot let alone over a speed bump. and to think of when i have to go up north and drive down dirt roads.

So no. no cute little FIT. i ended up with another CR-V, in glacier blue metalic the color of my Isolde's eyes. i was 4 hours at the dealership, and now own a new '08. i always thought i would buy preowned, but a new was actually cheaper--go figure.

I did get some knitting done which was good. my Octavia is coming together. I still cant believe i am willingly knitting a pink pullover. it seems pale to me so who knows maybe i will dye it later to a darker shade but it will stay pink. i miss that little cat.
