updates

I now have my car. YEAH!!!

a glacier blue CR-V '08 now the fun part getting it paid off. as well as other bills.

my Isolde still has not had her dental appointment but she is doing better under the antibiotics and i had not realised just how little she had been eating. so now she is eating and pooping like a younger cat. yes this makes me happy. other cats in the colony have had eye issues lately- i think it is allergy as they lay out in the wind with the pollen balls flying around. if i catch them i rinse their eyes they do not seem sick in any other way.

about me i need to take better care of myself beyond starting to get manicures - the migraines seem to be under control. and the rite size bra is helping my self esteem. but the back aches are still there and pain has been going down my left leg.. so i need to get serious about finding a health regime and follow it.

now to the important things YARN. I got my order from Virtual Yarns the colour is SO gorgeous
i keep petting it. I am working on my swatch now to check the gauge. I know Starmore patterns are on a tight gauge and i tend to knit loose so this will be a challenge my hand hurt thinking about it. and to help keep my hands relaxed i am going to switch out between projects of different size needles and of course frequent kitty petting and grooming

and the car is....

i so thought i was going to get the HONDA FIT, it was just so fun looking. then i really saw it nice shape kewl color, all the bells and whistles, and just how low slung it was. there was no way it would get into my parking spot let alone over a speed bump. and to think of when i have to go up north and drive down dirt roads.

So no. no cute little FIT. i ended up with another CR-V, in glacier blue metalic the color of my Isolde's eyes. i was 4 hours at the dealership, and now own a new '08. i always thought i would buy preowned, but a new was actually cheaper--go figure.

I did get some knitting done which was good. my Octavia is coming together. I still cant believe i am willingly knitting a pink pullover. it seems pale to me so who knows maybe i will dye it later to a darker shade but it will stay pink. i miss that little cat.
